Which rubber guard should I use on car park columns?
The heavy-duty rubber corner guard in high-impact Santoprene, mechanically fixed to the drive-aisle corners of each column, usually from 300 mm to about 1.2 m above the slab. Along end walls and ramps, the DW-WALL200 E-Fender at bumper height.
Are the rubber guards suitable for open-sided car parks in the UAE climate?
Yes. The Santoprene fenders and corner guards are rated for interior and exterior use and are specified in open-sided and rooftop parking structures; black rubber does not fade the way painted steel does and does not mark vehicles.
What is the difference between the D-Fender and the E-Fender?
The D-Fender (DW-DOCK075) is a compact 71 mm profile, 76 mm deep, for dock edges and low walls. The E-Fender (DW-WALL200) is a 203 mm face, 32 mm deep, covering the whole bumper zone on car park walls and ramps. Both come in 3.05 m lengths.
Do you have metal options for service areas that guests can see?
Yes — snap-lock stainless steel column covers (305 or 406 mm diameter), stainless and aluminium diamond plate panels, and the stainless steel wall guard range (50SSH, 56SSH, 51SS, 52SS) for service corridors and lift lobbies.
How are the guards fixed to concrete columns?
With mechanical anchors into the concrete or blockwork; Bluedge supplies the fixing details and installs with its own teams. Phased installation in an operating car park is normal — we work bay by bay.
Do you supply car park protection in Dubai and the Northern Emirates?
Bluedge is based in Abu Dhabi and supplies and installs across all seven emirates, with selected GCC projects. Supply-only, supply and install, or supply with installation supervision are all available.
